About Ben

The short version

I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering virtual therapy across Canada, working with individuals and couples who are navigating anxiety, depression, self-worth struggles, and relationship difficulties.

My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from several evidence-based modalities and adapt to what works best for you, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. I'm trained in CBT, ACT, EFT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused approaches, mindfulness, and Gottman Method for couples.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me playing in a band, competing at Nintendo games, or hanging out with my two Basset hounds.

Why I became a therapist

It can be easy to define your value by your experiences and circumstances, your successes, failures, and how you compare to the people around you. That kind of measuring can be both defeating and exhausting.

The truth is, your worth isn't something you have to earn. It already exists within you.

I became a therapist because I believe people deserve a space where they're genuinely seen and heard, not evaluated, not judged, just met. I bring real curiosity to every session, and a deep respect for the path that brought you here.

Beginning therapy takes courage. It often happens at a time when life feels heavy, when the weight of anxiety, low mood, or uncertainty becomes hard to carry alone. I don't take lightly the trust it takes to walk into that space.

My approach

I see therapy as a collaborative relationship, not something I do to you, but something we build together. My role isn't to have all the answers. It's to walk alongside you, ask good questions, and help you reconnect with your own inner resources.
